Equipment Staging
When a team of engineers is sent to a ground station in a foreign country or a remote location, every hour counts and unexpected issues are difficult to solve. For this reason we recommend performing as much prework as possible prior to shipping the equipment to the site. Staging the complete system instead of shipping merely a collection of parts ensures that when the equipment is received on the other end, nothings will be missing, every component will be in good working condition and correctly configured, and the onsite team won't have to face challenges procuring additional parts or installing the right software packages.
We have team members that are not only experienced in software installation, configuration and troubleshooting, they have a keen awareness of attention to detail. They ensure that every component from hundreds of blade servers to the smallest bolts and screws are accounted for before the shipment is on the dock. The entire system is assembled, tested, and then disassembled for shipping. The staging facility is where we also train our new Field Systems Engineers.
